2002年渡仏。
制作会社や日系ブランドを取り扱うコーディネーターの元で、制作回りの仕事のあり方を学ぶ。PRオフィスにて１年間勤務した後、スタイリストアシスタントとして2年間活動する。2008年にフリーランススタイリスト として独立。
2013年末にパリから東京へ拠点を移し、国内外の広告・カタログ・CF/CMをはじめ、ファッション系ブランドのビジュアル撮影を担当する。2017年からはプロップスタイリストとしても活動の幅を広げ、空間全体を表現することを得意とし好評を得ている。
2022年以降は、国際映画や外資系TVドラマの衣装監修としての活動も増え、その優れたオーガナイズ力により業界内で信頼を築いている。

When Hanae Uwajima of Japan moved to Paris in 2002, she began assisting stylists for various European publications and advertising clients. Then in 2008, she started working independently as a freelance stylist, specializing in fashion, art, and advertising. Her styling experience has translated well into props creation and art department assistance, garnering a high reputation from her clients.
Since 2022, she has increasingly taken on roles as a Costume Supervisor for international films and TV dramas, earning trust for her strong organizational skills.
Hanae has relocated to Tokyo since 2013 and still calls it home.
